Russian filmmakers murdered in Africa

We are extremely shaken by the death of filmmakers Aleksander Rastorguew, Orkhan Dzhemal and Kirill Radczenko in the Central African Republic. They were most probably killed for making a film about the connection between the mercenaries of Central Africa and Russia’s operations, not only in that country, but also in Syria and in the Ukraine.

Aleksander Rastorguew was one of the creators of the documentary “The Term”, which was screened during the Millennium Docs Against Gravity festival three years ago.

At the same time, we don’t forget about Oleg Sencow who, for 85 days now, has been participating in a hunger strike in a penal colony in the Northern Russia.

We’re signing the  IDFA’s statement.
