WITEK ORSKI

National Geographic Best Photo Competition juror, visual artist, photography theorist. Creates photographic installations, still photos, and video art. His artistic practice tends toward post-conceptual photography. A graduate of the University of Warsaw’s Philosophy Department, he’s currently working on his PhD at the Intermedia Department of the University of Fine Arts in Poznań and lecturing at the Szczecin Academy of Art’s Faculty of Painting and New Art. Orski lives and creates in Warsaw. His works were exhibited in numerous Polish institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, Zachęta National Gallery of Art, Centre for Contemporary Art, Białystok’s Arsenal Gallery, and BWA in Zielona Góra, as well as abroad in Berlin, Budapest, Bratislava, Düsseldorf, Copenhagen, Tokyo, Turin, and Paris.
