Marcin Kot Bastkowski has edited dozens of feature films, documentaries and TV series. He is a member of the Polish Film Academy and the Polish Association of Editors. Graduate PWSFTViT in Łódź and PhD student at the faculty of directing, major in editing. In 2015, he received a Scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for the best doctoral students.

Since 2014, WAMA Film Festival has been implemented – an international film festival in Olsztyn, of which Marcin Kot Bastkowski has been the originator and director since the beginning. The event takes place anually in October.

This year, at the 20th International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights in Geneva, a new documentary film by Hanna Polak ANGELS OF SINJAR, of which Kot was also a co-creator and creative producer, premiered. At this festival, the film ANGELS OF SINJAR won the Gilda Vieira de Mello Prize.

Currently, Marcin Kot Bastkowski has completed a feature film about Witold Pilecki and is currently editing a costume feature film and a series telling the story of routs in Warsaw in 1905.
