The second day of MDAG brought us both deep reflections on the world and moments of pure fun! Mark Cousins’ anti-masterclass, as promised, completely reshaped our understanding of events like this and of cinema itself. There were football kits, dancing, spontaneous costume changes by the hosts—and plenty of sharp insights into how we perceive images. The evening belonged to Stefan Wesołowski, composer of the music for Kompleta, whose acoustic concert at Kulturalna transported us into a world of cinematic melancholy.
And when night fell, we let ourselves be swept away by wild dancing to disco tunes straight from vinyl records. Thank you for being with us—and we invite you to join us for another exciting festival day. Today, we have over 20 meetings with filmmakers ahead of us!
