Yesterday, the Awards Gala of the 22nd edition of Millennium Docs Against Gravity took place!

Powerful words were spoken on stage by award-winners and partners about the need to work together to build a better world. Films don't change the world — people who watch them do. We felt the strength of our festival family, in line with this year’s motto: “A Whole World Between Us.” We were overjoyed to learn that, starting this year, the PISF Awards will also be granted in a category related to accessibility.

Artur Liebhart expressed his gratitude to Bank Millennium for 20 years of fruitful cooperation that has enabled our festival to grow and continues to this day — a record-breaking achievement on a national scale. The Grand Prix – Bank Millennium Award went to YINTAH, directed by Jennifer Wickham, Brenda Michell, and Michael Toledano. The Award for Best Polish Film was presented to BEDROCK, directed by Kinga Michalska.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all filmmakers, volunteers, jurors, partner organizations, media, and of course, our audience – it is thanks to you that the festival thrives and responds vividly to what’s happening in the world.
