About the Short Pitch Program
The Short Pitch Program is designed for creators of short documentary films from Central and Eastern Europe. Five selected projects, either in development or in rough-cut phases, will be pitched to a panel of sales agents, distributors, and representatives from festivals and TV networks at Millennium Docs Against Gravity.
The selection process will prioritize both artistic merit and compelling, impactful content.
AWARDS
East Silver Award
The East Silver International Jury presents this award to the best documentary film from the Short Pitch program. Its purpose is to support directors with innovative approaches, filmmakers who create social impact, and those who bravely address serious and thought-provoking topics. The award also honours creators offering unique perspectives.
The winner will receive a trophy and a year-long festival distribution service through East Silver Caravan.
DAE Pitch Talent Encouragement Prize
This award includes tailored mentoring by a DAE member, customized to the project team's needs.
