Lower Silesian premiere of the film and meeting with authors

after screening of the film "Sowing the Seeds of the Wild", dir. Dyba Lach

In 2022, an ecological disaster occurred along a several-hundred-kilometre stretch of the Oder River, resulting in the deaths of millions of fish, mussels and other animals. The latest film by Dyba Lach, co-produced by the Lower Silesian Film Centre, tells the story of Polish musician Michał Zygmunt, who decides to sail 1300 km in a traditional wooden boat to symbolically reclaim the wilderness of his beloved river. His voyage offers an opportunity for reflection on humanity's impact on the environment and serves as a reminder of the devastating ecological disaster on the Odra River. The Lower Silesian premiere of the film, which was shot in Wrocław, Oława and Ścinawa, will be accompanied by a conversation with the director, the cinematographer and the protagonist of the documentary. After the meeting, we invite you to the Piano Bar, where we will present additional video materials featuring statements of those who directly experienced the ecological disaster on the Oder River.

Guests:

Dyba Lach, Adam Lach, Michał Zygmunt

Host:
