Kinga Michalska is a Polish queer filmmaker and visual artist living in Montreal. Her work explores themes of identity, body, home, territory and anxiety. Her film “Vampires, It's Nothing to Laugh at” (2023) received an honourable mention at the Visions du Réel festival. Her feature-length debut “Bedrock” (2025) premiered at the Berlinale and was nominated for the Best Documentary award.
