The Final Countdown to the 22nd MDAG!  Full Screening Schedule, and Ticket Sales Launch

Just a few days remain until the launch of the 22nd edition of Millennium Docs Against Gravity – the second-largest documentary film festival in Europe!

Starting today, the complete screening schedule for all seven festival cities is available at mdag.pl. Online pre-sale of tickets has also begun via mdag.pl, on cinema websites, and at box offices in participating cinemas.

Now is the perfect time to carefully plan your documentary film feast. The cinema part of the festival will take place from May 9 to 18 in seven cities: Warsaw, Wrocław, Gdynia, Katowice, Poznań, Bydgoszcz, and Łódź. This year, MDAG’s new home in Łódź is Kino NCKF at EC1 Łódź. The online part of the festival will run from May 20 to June 2 at  mdag.pl. The detailed program for the online edition will be announced at the end of the festival in cinemas.

It’s the last chance to get a festival pass (accreditations are no longer available). Sales of the remaining passes will continue until the end of April or until they sell out at book.mdag.pl! Tickets for special events—such as stand-up shows, thematic dinners at PURO Hotel, photography workshops, and live music screenings—are also available at book.mdag.pl.

Accessibility at MDAG

During the festival, we make every effort to ensure the event is as accessible as possible! If you have any questions, need assistance purchasing tickets for screenings, or support moving around the cinema, feel free to contact the festival’s accessibility coordinator, Julia Kosińska, by email at julia@againstgravity.pl or by phone at +48 579754101

This year, seven films in the program are available with audio description via the Kino Dostępne app: Viktor, Trains, Ernest Cole: Lost and Found, One to One: John & Yoko, Apocalypse in the Tropics, Sudden Glimpses to Deeper Things and Mr. Nobody Against Putin.

Audiodescription is intended for people with visual impairments who have difficulty reading subtitles and may require narration support. We also invite you to attend special screenings where we provide audio description receivers and headphones, as well as induction loops and captions for people with hearing impairments.

In addition, we’ve organized training sessions on the needs of people with disabilities for our wonderful volunteers and cinema coordinators. Noise-canceling headphones are available at every cinema in Warsaw, and companions of persons with disabilities receive free admission to all events.
