MDAG Industry, in cooperation with the Polish Film Institute (PISF) and the Swedish Film Institute, is announcing a call for projects for MDAG CO-PRO - a new initiative dedicated to fostering international film co-productions. Each edition of the event will focus on collaboration between Poland and a different European country. The first partner country will be Sweden.
MDAG CO-PRO serves as a meeting platform for producers, aiming to develop new international documentary co-productions. The event includes an open call, a selection process, and invitations for Polish and Swedish producers seeking partners or projects for collaboration. The Swedish Film Institute and MDAG will select 5-7 projects from each country.
Who can apply:
- Polish or Swedish producers of feature-length documentaries looking for a project to join
- Polish or Swedish producers of projects that are Polish or Swedish productions or co-productions, seeking co-producers
Projects submitted to other events or pitching sessions within MDAG Industry are also eligible to participate in the event.

Project presentations
Selected projects will be presented on May 7, 2026, during MDAG Industry, part of the 23rd Millennium Docs Against Gravity Festival in Warsaw. Presentations will be conducted in English, in front of producers from Poland and Sweden as well as representatives of the Swedish Film Institute and the Polish Film Institute.
Swedish producers can apply for travel support from SFI.
