Viktor  

Film description  

Viktor lives in Kharkiv, Ukraine. He lost his hearing at the age of 5. Because of his disability, he struggles to find work. When war breaks out, Viktor wants to defend his country. The film shows the war in Ukraine from Viktor’s perspective. The film’s director is a renowned war photographer and cinematographer who has received two Emmy® awards. The sound was created by Nicolas Becker, Oscar® winner for “Sound of Metal.” Directed by Olivier Sarbil, released in 2024, duration 91 minutes, produced in Denmark, France, Ukraine and the USA

Film description  

An artistic journey through the 20th century. The film is made entirely of archival footage and contains no dialogue. It shows the beauty and sorrow of traveling by train. Ernest Cole: Lost and Found  

Film description  

A documentary about photographer Ernest Cole. In 1966, Ernest Cole fled South Africa and moved to the United States, where he photographed New York and the southern states. He was surprised by how different yet similar the country was to apartheid-era South Africa. The film explores the life of Cole, one of the first independent Black photographers in South Africa. The film chronicles 18 months in the lives of John Lennon and Yoko Ono in New York City from 1971 to 1972. Architectural accessibility of Dolnośląskie Centrum Filmowe – DCF  

All screening rooms are accessible for wheelchair users. The cinema is equipped with an elevator and properly adapted restrooms. The entrance has wide doors and no steps. The cinema does not have its own designated parking spaces for people with disabilities. However, accessible parking spots are available in the shared courtyard with neighboring buildings. People using these spaces can directly access the DCF building. Induction loops are installed in two cinema rooms, at the ticket desks, and at the bar. Communication cards are available at the box office, and audio description receivers are available in the cinema. Assistance and guide dogs are welcome.
