Let's meet at the Gdynia Film Centre Cinema!
The best films from Poland and the world, exhibitions, discussions with filmmakers, film workshops for younger and older cinema enthusiasts. It is all right here, at the Gdynia Film Centre. Opened in 2015, it is a cultural meeting point in the heart of Gdynia, providing city and regional residents, as well as tourists, with film education, culture and entertainment at the highest level.
The Gdynia Film Centre is located a few hundred metres from the downtown beach. Artistic events, including outdoor film screenings, concerts and meetings, also take place on the grass-covered Plac Grunwaldzki. A cable car connects the square to the viewing terrace on Kamienna Góra. The GFC's offer is addressed both to professional filmmakers and amateur film enthusiasts. It is home to the Gdynia Film School, which offers training for students of directing. In autumn, the biggest celebration of Polish cinema, the Polish Film Festival, takes place.
The GFC Studio Cinema is available to viewers every day. The names of its three halls refer to the old and now defunct cinemas in Gdynia. The largest of them, Warszawa, has a seating capacity of 227. The two more intimate rooms, Goplana and Morskie Oko, have 96 and 50 seats each. All are equipped with 4K projectors and a 7.1 sound system. The GFC Studio Cinema cooperates with the Network of Studio Cinemas in Poland and the Europa Cinemas organisation. From 2021, Gdynia is proud to hold the title of UNESCO City of Film. We have joined the UNESCO Cities of Creativity Network not only thanks to the film festivals we have been organising for years, but also thanks to the systematic cooperation of many institutions and entities connected with the film industry.
Part of the Gdynia Film Centre is the GFC Gallery, which presents the work of both emerging artists and established figures of cinema and the arts. The GFC building houses the FaBuła café and Niewinni Czarodzieje 3.0 restaurant.
Tickets
Tickets will go on sale on 24 April at the Gdynia Film Centre box office and online at: WWW.GCF.ORG.PL and www.mdag.pl (tab: Gdynia).
Ticket Prices:
Single screening ticket – PLN 25
Single tickets are sold online and at the box office of the Gdynia Film Centre's Studio Cinema. It is not possible to reserve festival tickets online.
10+ PACKAGE *
When purchasing a minimum of 10 tickets for festival screenings, the price of one ticket is PLN 20.
It is not possible to return the tickets purchased as part of a package. We kindly ask you to consider your ticket choices carefully.
5+ PACKAGE *
When purchasing a minimum of 10 tickets for festival screenings, the price of one ticket is PLN 22.
It is not possible to return the tickets purchased as part of a package. We kindly ask you to consider your ticket choices carefully.
The 10+ and 5+ packages are sold exclusively at the box office of the Gdynia Film Centre's Studio Cinema. It is not possible to reserve tickets in packages or purchase them online.
Admission to the meetings with festival guests is free of charge for holders of tickets for the film relating to the meeting.

Open 9:30-21:00. Gdynia Film Centre, level -1. At FaBuła, each drop of a tasty drink weaves its own story, and each evening spent with us carries several possible scenarios. FaBuła provides unlimited WiFi coverage. Pets are welcome there.

Our merch can be purchased during the Festival in the Gdynia Film Centre. The offer includes t-shirts and bags.
Subtitles
Foreign films are screened with Polish subtitles. Most films also have English subtitles.
