after the screening of the film  YALLA PARKOUR, dir. Areeb Zuaiter

US-based filmmaker Areeb Zuaiter first visited the Gaza Strip at the age of four with her Palestinian mother. After her mother's death, Areeb's sense of longing for her homeland returns with particular intensity when she watches online footage of joyful teenagers doing parkour among the ruins left by the explosions. She gets in touch with one of them, Ahmed, and embarks on a journey to Gaza. The film offers one last look at the place before the tragic events of October 7, 2023.
