DKF at DCF. Lecture and quiz after the screening of One to One: John and Yoko
before the film ONE TO ONE: JOHN & YOKO, dir. Kevin Macdonald, Sam Rice-Edwards
As part of the May DKF (Film Discussion Club) at the DCF cinema, music films will be screened. The list includes One to One: John & Yoko, which debuted at last year’s Venice Film Festival. The Oscar-winning film by Kevin Macdonald tells the story of 18 months in the lives of the two icons in New York in the 1970s. The creators were the first to use audio recordings of the only concert Lennon played after leaving The Beatles, as well as materials from the couple’s personal archive.
