The film, co-produced by the Lower Silesian Film Center and Wrocław’s Wytwórnia Filmów Fabularnych, tells the story of people who found their unique path through the difficult socio-economic reality of the 1990s. Streetball became their passion, and the eponymous Alkatraz, a grassroots basketball court, a symbol of determination and fighting for one’s dreams.
