Q&A with the director of Szkoda, że nareszcie (At Least. At Last)

after the screening of AT LEAST. AT LAST, dir. Sebastian Juszczyk

A film about Jacek “Budyń” Szymkiewicz, an extraordinarily talented artist and stage personality, known for his unique, poetic lyrics and passion for music. “Budyń” was an original artist who defied categorization, a sensitive and empathetic person, but also a surprisingly wild and controversial performer. At Least. At Last is also a story about the turn of the 1990s, the Polish indie music scene, mental health, addiction, and social transgressions. After the screening, we will talk with the director about music as a way of life, but also as a form of therapy and self-creation.
