Q&A with the director of the film “Trust Me”

A loving family, a profitable business: seemingly the perfect life. So what happens when we add another ingredient to the mix: one of the partners’ yearning for freedom? Alicja and Sebastian, a Polish-German couple living in Berlin, embark on a turbulent emotional journey that puts their relationship to the test. The duo becomes a trio, culturally and socially rooted notions of monogamous love are shaken to their core, and the protagonists are constantly confronted with their own desires. After the screening, we will meet with the director to talk about the different aspects of love and the search for one’s own “self.”
