Three American doctors travel to Gaza to save lives, only to find that medicine is intertwined with politics. They make difficult decisions, treat the wounded, demand action from their own government, and question the role of humanity in the face of violence.

Dr. n. med. Ahmed Elsaftawy – a surgeon and Palestinian who has been living in Poland for over 30 years. Head of the Department of Plastic and Hand Surgery at the Św. Jadwiga Śląska hospital in Trzebnica. Editor-in-chief and publisher of the news and opinion website VivaPalestyna.pl. Finalist in Amnesty International’s Pen of Hope 2025 competition.

Moderator: 

Kaja Kędzioł – a cultural researcher, PhD student at the Institute of Cultural Studies at the University of Wrocław, and a social activist. Her academic work focuses on cultural narratives of love, social discourses, and contemporary changes within communities. She is a co-founder of Solidarnościówka Wrocław. As part of the Nomada Association, she is responsible for communications and advocacy.
