Traces
“Traces” is a moving testament to the resilience and solidarity of women standing side by side. The film follows Iryna Dowhan, who documents the experiences of women affected by violence and aggression, creating a space for hope and healing. By gathering survivors’ testimonies, Iryna and the women in the film build a circle of courage and care, transforming pain into the strength of truth, justice, and mutual support. The directors avoid direct depictions of violence, focusing instead on subtle “traces” that hold the stories of six women – some visible immediately, others deeply hidden. The film is a study of survival, courage, and solidarity in the aftermath of war.
