Premiere screening of the film “Anita” and a meeting with the filmmakers
What is the price of being the best - not just once, but for decades? “Anita” is an intimate portrait of Anita Włodarczyk, one of the greatest track and field athletes in the history of sport. The film takes viewers where no athlete usually allows cameras—behind the scenes of preparations for the World Championships. It’s a portrait of a woman for whom being the best is not a goal, but a way of life. This is not only a story about what sport takes away, but above all about what it gives - purpose, passion, and emotions that nothing else can replace.
We invite you to the film’s premiere, followed by a meeting with director Kasia Grabek and the film’s protagonist, Anita Włodarczyk. It’s a rare opportunity to talk about the film, women’s sports, and the story behind the titles and records.
Free tickets can be collected starting Friday, May 8, at the Festival Center at Kino Luna.
