Workshop: Removing Barriers – Accessibility in Practice of Film Production

Workshop: Removing Barriers – Accessibility in Practice of Film Production

Monday, 11 May | 1.00 pm – 5.00 pm | State Ethnographic Museum

The workshop will address the most common challenges faced by producers: new Polish Film Institute accessibility requirements, planning accessibility costs, and selecting qualified accessibility service providers. Participants will learn about their formal obligations, walk through key stages of the production process from an accessibility perspective, and review examples of good practices as well as common mistakes. A meeting with audiences with diverse needs will complement the formal perspective with a social dimension. After the workshop, each participant will leave with a clear understanding of their responsibilities, ready‑to‑use tools, and the confidence to implement accessibility in their own productions.

Partners: Polish Film Institute, Against Gravity, Katarynka Foundation, Kultura Bez Barier Foundation, Forum bez barier

Event will be held in Polish only.

The call for applications is open from April 13 to April 30, 2026
