Vincent Munier is a French photographer and filmmaker born in 1976 in the Vosges Mountains. From the early 2000s, he undertook numerous solo and self-supported expeditions in his quest to showcase the beauty of the natural world and highlight the animal species that fascinate him. From the Arctic to the Antarctic and Tibet, he always returns to his home base in the Vosges, where he independently publishes his books. He is the director and co-producer of the films "The Velvet Queen" (2021) and "Whispers in the Woods" (2025), both of which received the César Award for Best Documentary Film.
