Zed Wang is a Taiwan-based filmmaker and a graduate of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where he studied film and television. Working as both a director and cinematographer, he has experience across local productions and international co-productions. Since 2017, he has focused on documentary filmmaking and community-based media education, and continues to produce new work. His cinematography credits include Some Conjectures on Existence Itself, Taipeilove*—which won Best Documentary at the Seoul International Film Festival—and Taiwanese Cha Cha Cha, which was nominated for Best Cinematography at the 2019 Kadoma International Film Festival. As an editor, his work In Faith We Dream received the Best Documentary Editing award at the 2025 Sweden Film Awards. The international co-production Cooking Up Democracy premiered in 2026, the same year Zed completed his first feature-length documentary, Stop, Motion.
