FESTIVAL IS FOR EVERYONE!

One of our core values is building a sense of community. We make every effort to ensure that everyone feels welcome and can enjoy the festival programme in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

What do we offer and what we implemented?

  • Thanks to the support of Visa, all films in the Main Competition will include audio description (AD) available via the Kino Dostępne 2.0 app.
  • We organise screenings with Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (SDH).
  • Selected films in the programme are available with Polish voice-over narration.
  • It is possible to use assistance when attending screenings, including support from public transport stops or parking areas.
  • We offer ticket and seat reservations, as well as early boarding for people with disabilities. We kindly ask you to contact us one day before the planned screening.
  • To help you prepare for your visit to the cinema, we encourage you to explore the pre-guides to festival venues. They include photos and practical information, such as architectural accessibility, locations of parking spaces for people with disabilities, and directions to the cinemas.
  • In film descriptions on the festival website, as well as in the Psychological Support section, you will find content warnings (trigger warnings). During the festival, you can also access a free support helpline provided by Wellbee, and noise-cancelling headphones will be available at festival centres.
  • We also encourage you to watch the festival invitation in Polish Sign Language (PJM) and visit our social media channels, where we prepare alternative text descriptions for published content.
  • Our team and volunteers have completed anti-discrimination training by Wellbee, including training on accessibility.
