‘Seniors Tuesdays’

The event will be accompanied by the screening of ‘Closure’, dir. Michał Marczak (108 min.)

Discussion duration: 45 min.

As part of the event, we invite you to a screening of the film ‘Closure’, directed by Michał Marczak. The film tells the story of Krzysztof Dymiński's disappearance. Daniel did not hear his son, Krzysiek, leaving the house and heading to the bridge over the Vistula, where he was last seen. A camera captured him — and then he disappeared: either he jumped into the river or walked off the bridge. Since then, Daniel and his wife have lived suspended between hope and fear.

A special edition of the NCKF’s ‘Seniors Tuesdays’ series, held as part of the 23rd MDAG. The event will feature a screening of ‘Closure’ – a moving documentary about a family caught between hope and uncertainty following the disappearance of their son. After the screening, we invite you to an open discussion during which you can share your reflections on coping with loss, dealing with uncertainty, and family ties. The meeting will be held in an intimate setting and draws on the tradition of Film Discussion Clubs.

The event duration is 45 minutes. You can attend the event with a ticket purchased for the screening (15 zł).

Limit of places: 167

The discussion will be held in Polish. The event is part of the ‘Seniors Tuesdays’ series organised by the NCKF Cinema.
