Sun Ra: Do The Impossible

Sun Ra: Do The Impossible
dir. Christine Turner/USA/2025/85 min

In his youth, he had a revelation – he claimed to have been transported to Saturn and called to devote himself entirely to music. He created Afrofuturism, transforming ancient Egyptian and interstellar metaphors into a musical and spiritual vision that resonates across generations. As Sun Ra himself said: “What’s possible has already been tried and failed. Now it’s time to try the impossible."
