Polish premiere of Closure
The 23rd edition of MDAG will open with Michał Marczak’s deeply moving and critically acclaimed Closure, which had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. It tells the story of Daniel- a father who refuses to give up hope of finding his missing son.
For the first time in history, the ceremony will also feature the presentation of a brand-new prestigious award in the world of cinema - the FIPRESCI Documentary Grand Prix. Film critics from around the globe, affiliated with the federation, will select the best documentary of 2025. The award will be presented annually at MDAG.
The evening will be hosted by Błażej Hrapkowicz.
A cocktail reception will follow the screening. Tickets for the event are priced at PLN 50 and will be available online at book.mdag.pl from April 13.
