Postgranicze is a multi-layered world of speculative fiction built upon the foundation of our reality. Set in the forests of Podlasie—where the borders of Poland, Belarus, and Ukraine meet—the land itself seems to speak with the voices of many histories and languages. The project prioritizes poetic imagination over dry factual description, creating a space to contemplate how places of memory and cultural fractures define our identity.
Participants interact with elements of the virtual space, becoming co-creators of a world where personal testimonies and magical tales form a dense tapestry of meaning. The installation encourages the crossing of not only geographical borders but also internal ones, inviting a journey through a landscape full of whispers and a polyphony of dialects. Postgranicze is a unique immersive experience in which history, nature, and speculation merge into a single, poignant story of a land that remembers more than we do.
