Premiere screening of ‘Anita’ and a meeting with the filmmakers

after the screening of ANITA, dir. Kasia Grabek

What is the price of being the best, not just once, but for decades on end? ‘Anita’ is an intimate portrait of Anita Włodarczyk, one of the greatest track-and-field athletes in history. The film takes viewers where no athlete ever lets cameras in: behind the scenes of the World Championships preparations. A portrait of a woman for whom being the best is not a goal, but a way of life. It is not only a story about the sacrifices, but above all about the rewards of sport — a sense of purpose, passion and emotions that nothing else can replace.

Join us for the film’s premiere, followed by a meeting with director Kasia Grabek and the film’s protagonist, Anita Włodarczyk. This is a rare opportunity to discuss the film, women’s sport and the story behind the victories and records.

Free tickets for the film can be collected from Friday, 8 May, at the Festival Centre in Kino Luna.
