FIPRESCI juror in the Documentary Grand Prix Competition
Bartolomé Armentano (Rosario, Argentina, 1992) is a film critic, journalist and university teacher with over a decade of experience in cultural media. He writes regularly for Rolling Stone Argentina and the Spanish magazine Rockdelux. He is a member of FIPRESCI (the International Federation of Film Critics), ACCA (the Argentine Association of Film Critics), and a Golden Globe voter. Throughout his career, he has interviewed filmmakers such as Wim Wenders, Luca Guadagnino and Bong Joon-ho, as well as actors including Kate Winslet and Willem Dafoe. In 2024, he directed and starred in his first short film, Las Cenizas, currently in post-production. In 2025, he served on the FIPRESCI Jury at the 40th Mar del Plata International Film Festival. In 2026, he moderated a Q&A at the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA) following a screening of The Souffleur, in conversation with director Gastón Solnicki.
