Grzegorz Brzozowicz (66) is a journalist, director and radio presenter whose creative work spans both the media and documentary film. He began his career in 1983 at the monthly magazine ‘Non Stop’, and subsequently headed the music section of ‘Gazeta Wyborcza’ (1991–1995). He was a co-founder of ‘Machina’ and wrote for many renowned publications. At the same time, he developed his radio career, collaborating with numerous stations. His film work occupies a special place in his portfolio. He is the director of eight documentary films dedicated to prominent figures in music and culture, including Goran Bregović, Andrzej Korzyński and Lech Janerka. His films serve as portraits of these artists, showcasing their body of work and influence on contemporary culture. Brzozowicz is also the initiator of significant musical projects and the author of six books. For many years, he appeared on the programme ‘Tygodnik kulturalny’ on TVP Kultura.
