Helena Stańczyk is an animated film director and comic book author. She graduated from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Warsaw and is currently a final-year student specialising in Animated Film and Special Effects at the Łódź Film School. Her first short animated documentary film, ‘49 385’, has been screened and awarded at numerous festivals in Poland and abroad. Her debut comic book, ‘Ni pies, ni wydra’, was recognised in 2025 as one of the 150 best children’s books at the Bologna Book Fair and featured in the BRAW Amazing Bookshelf exhibition.
