KATIE JACOBS is an award-winning director/producer, best known for her work on HOUSE M.D. Katie developed, executive produced, and co-showran the Fox hit series for all 187 episodes. Under Jacobs’ leadership, the show accrued 82 million viewers worldwide and became the most watched TV show in the world for the better part of the decade. Jacobs was nominated for 4 consecutive EmmyAwards for Outstanding Drama Series. Under her leadership, the show was nominated for an additional 25 Emmys, won 2 Golden Globes, an AFI Award, and a Peabody Award (among others). Katie directed several of the most memorable episodes, including the Writers Guild of America Award-winning Season six premiere, “Broken,” a two-hour, two-part episodic-feat. Additionally, Katie has been honored by the Gracie Awards and Humanitas Prize. She resides in the East Village, where she spends time in the community garden, with her two daughters, and occasionally leaves the city to embark on river rafting excursions.
