Rocco Di Mento (Italy, 1984) has lived and worked in Berlin since 2007. He holds a BFA in film editing and an MFA in directing from Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. His graduation film The Blunder of Love (2021) premiered at DOK Leipzig and received the Doc Alliance Award at Cannes' Marché du Film and the Nuovi Talenti prize at Biografilm Festival in Bologna, travelling to Doc Lisboa, Ji.hlava and Millennium Docs Against Gravity, among others. His new documentary TORO (2025), co-produced with ZDF, had its world premiere at SXSW London and its Italian premiere at Biografilm Festival in Bologna.
