White Lies
Born in Thailand within the controversial Children of God sect, notorious for sexual abuse and manipulation, Alba Zari does not remember her childhood. To discover her father’s identity and understand her past, she talks with her mother and grandmother, trying to comprehend their choices and motivations that led them to join the sect. Desperate to reclaim lost memories, she confronts the painful consequences of indoctrination and family experiences.
