Doc Alliance Network of Markets Digital Market Platform - a complete online access to all of the four DA markets’ projects from 2025
In 2025, the network of 4 European festival markets (FidLab, Ji.hlava New Visions, MDAG Industry and Doclisboa’s Nebulae) has created a Digital Market Platform which provides accredited guests with continuous online access to all of the four markets’ projects and their up-to-date information, including a live chat function.
Last year, the four complementary markets began to work together in the Doc Alliance Network of Markets: FIDLab, Ji.hlava New Visions, MDAG Industry and Doclisboa's Nebulae. By fostering collaboration between the markets, Doc Alliance aims to enhance the visibility of the selected film projects year-round — with two events in spring and summer, and two in the fall — and to cover the regional diversity that spans these four European industry events and their connections with the wider world.
A key element of this initiative is the Doc Alliance Digital Market Platform, which serves as a centralised hub accessible to accredited film professionals from the four DA Markets, as well as other paying accredited professionals. The platform allows all the users to follow the progress of the presented projects year-round and to communicate directly with the project owners via the website’s inbuilt chat tool.
In 2026, each of the market’s accredited film professionals will be able to access the new editions’ projects as well as the previous years’ archive. Users will receive live notifications about updates and changes in the status of the projects marked as “favourite” if they select the email notifications option in their profile. The DANM Ptalform will also be introducing new functions throughout the year, such as a Video Library for each of the markets and AI Matchmaking Tools to facilitate connection and collaboration between project holders and other film professionals.
In addition, at each of the four industry events, one selected project will receive the Doc Alliance Network of Markets Label and its representative will be invited to take part in one of the other four markets. Thereby each market in the network commits to presenting at least one project from the other markets’ selections in its next next edition.
