Museum Night: Screening of the film EXPOSING MUYBRIDGE, dir. Marc Shaffer

On the day when museums, galleries and cultural institutions open their doors to visitors, the DCF cinema invites you to a screening of the documentary ‘Exposing Muybridge’. Directed by Marc Shaffer, the film tells the story of the most famous photographer of the 19th century. Gary Oldman, a collector of Muybridge’s photographs and the film’s narrator, compares his achievements in photography to the discovery of penicillin or the splitting of the atom. During the evening screening, we will learn not only about the legend’s life story, but also about his most famous works.

Admission is free; tickets can be collected from the DCF cinema box office on the day of the screening.
