Workshops: Wrap Yourself In a Veil of Tenderness

The protagonists of the film ‘Flying Scents – of Plants and People’ seek to explore the connections among plants, insects, and humans, and we will try to transcend the boundaries of conventional sensuality, embarking on a journey into the world of fragrances.
Part of the magic of scent lies in the fact that it cannot be transmitted via fibre optics. Scent is intimate and private, steeped in memories and individual experiences. It demands to be experienced in its singularity, in the encounter between two bodies – the chemical and the human. During the olfactory workshops, we will explore what scent is and learn the secrets of perfume composition.
Hosts:
Karol Jaśkowiak – an independent perfumer and expert in fragrance ingredients. Owner of the perfumiarz.com shop, which offers professional perfumery ingredients from the world’s leading manufacturers. He is actively involved in promoting independent perfumery in Poland. His compositions have been recognised and rated by the international portal Fragrantica. Through his collaboration with the Tkliwi Nihiliści brand, he combines his passion for perfumery with the brand’s philosophy, creating fragrances that are true works of olfactory art.
Kamil Zając – the founder and owner of the Tkliwi Nihiliści brand, which has been active online for over a decade, filling the digital space with photographs and artistic inspirations. The work of Tkliwi Nihiliści combines philosophy, art, and nostalgia for a bygone world, evident in both their original fragrance compositions and their unique artistic designs. The brand’s aim is to share the beauty and fleeting magic of scents, which become a deeply personal experience for every recipient.
