Although the in-cinema edition of Millennium Docs Against Gravity is coming to an end, we’re not saying goodbye to the festival just yet.

The online edition will run from May 19 to June 1. Sales of passes and single-access tickets begin on Tuesday at 8:00 AM. From the comfort of your home, you’ll be able to watch more than 100 films from around the world. The online programme is not only a continuation of what audiences experienced during the ten days of screenings in cinemas across Poland, but also includes plenty of new additions — such as a completely revamped version of the The Best of MDAG section and previously unreleased short film programmes.

How much do e-tickets and e-passes cost?

A single e-ticket costs 13 PLN

With an e-pass, you can watch films at a lower price!

An e-pass for 5 films costs 53 PLN (10.60 PLN per film)

An e-pass for 10 films costs 93 PLN (9.30 PLN per film)

An e-pass for 14 films costs 113 PLN (8.07 PLN per film)

SHORT FILM SECTION

BLOCK 1: INTERRUPTED CHILDHOOD

The young protagonists of the films in this section never had the chance to enjoy a carefree childhood. Their stories serve as a powerful, vital appeal to all of us to protect and care for those who cannot defend themselves.

BLOCK 2: ALL IN THE FAMILY

Family relationships can be - to put it mildly - complicated. This section explores sacrifice, extraordinary bonds, and the topics that remain taboo among our closest kin.

BLOCK 3: OF HUMANS AND ANIMALS

We love them, protect them, and admire their abilities, yet we also keep them in captivity for our own entertainment. This section takes a closer look at the interspecies relationships between humans and other animals.

BLOCK 4: LIMIT SITUATIONS

What would you do if you were in their shoes? The films in this section center on unpredictable events that change absolutely everything.

BLOCK 5: TRAPPED IN HISTORY

The protagonists of these films simply want to lead peaceful, happy lives. Unfortunately, they must face events that make up some of the darkest chapters of history.

BLOCK 6: DESIRES AND DREAMS

Dreams of peace, freedom, and equality in this section collide with far more earthly desires for money, youth, and attractive bodies.

The 23rd edition of MDAG online takes place from May 19 to June 1 on mdag.pl. The title sponsor of the event is Bank Millennium (https://www.bankmillennium.pl/
