Discussion: Japan - a mirror of the future?

After the screening THE MAKING OF A JAPANESE, dir. Ema Ryan Yamazaki

Partner: Magazyn ZNAK

Japan is considered one of the safest places in the world, a country where people approach each other with gentleness. On the one hand, we admire Japanese tradition, enjoy their literature and are impressed by the advanced development of technology. On the other hand, women in Japan are still underrepresented in the labour market, burnout is a serious problem, and more than half of young people have suicidal thoughts.

Japan fascinates us because we see it as a society of the future, but it is also a society of contrasts. Does Japan project what lies ahead for Poland? We will discuss this topic in a discussion hosted by ZNAK magazine.
