In Lidia Duda's film, big politics knocks on the door of Asia and Marek, the film's protagonists, who settled near Poland's eastern border in the Białowieża Forest after graduating. They wanted to raise their three children in an idyllic setting. However, one day, strangers, the others, refugees – unwanted both in Poland and Belarus – appeared in the tame forest. Who are the refugees arriving in our country? How can we understand and help them?
