Laura Shacham is a creative producer specialising in artist moving image and documentary film. She seeks out projects concerned with voice, subject position and care, particularly those led and imagined by womxn. Laura is a Sheffield Doc/Fest Future Producer 2016 and a Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program Grantee 2020. Laura has produced for organisations such as the Barbican Centre, Film and Video Umbrella, Screen South, and delivered to the BBC, Al Jazeera, Channel 4, Amazon and Netflix. Among her previous work: The Penalty (feature documentary, Amazon Prime, Netflix), The Mortician of Manila (Al Jazeera), Skyward (The Guardian & BFI Doc Society) and Turner Prize-winning artist Helen Cammock for Art + Practice (Los Angeles).
