Film and radio director, producer, screenwriter, professor at the Film School in Łódź. Graduate of the Directing Department of the Institute of Cinematography in Moscow (VGIK). After graduation, he worked as an assistant to Krzysztof Zanussi and Krzysztof Kieślowski. Winner of numerous international film festivals.
