Nathalie Windhorst is head of the Factual Acquisition Department. Her office is based at VPRO but her team takes care of acquisition of documentaries and factual series of all Dutch public broadcasters, part of NPO. She aims for films that are creative in its storytelling, have the quality of cinema but the rhythm of television. Foreign stories that tell us something about our contemporary society and are relevant and feel urgent.
