Getting your film screened (distribution/sales, submission platforms, how to make your own distribution strategy, premiere statuses, working with distributors, etc.).
-
How do film festivals work (selection criteria, how selection committees operate, visiting a festival, dos and don'ts in submissions, etc.).
-
Talent development opportunities (training programs, networking, industry programs, etc.).
-
Other practical tips (useful websites, insider tips, etc.).
The talk is targeted at film students and filmmakers at the beginning of their careers. The presentation is about 1 hour long. Afterwards, there is time for about 30-45 minutes of questions.
