Born in 1984, Łukasz is a Polish director, journalist and film producer. Graduate of the University of Silesia and the Wajda School. Scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture, member of the Polish Film Academy, Polish Filmmakers Association and Polish Producers Alliance. Winner of the Polish Film Academy Award “Eagle” and the Grand Prix at the MDAG Festival. His feature-length film debut “Pawnshop” received 26 international awards and was one of the most frequently screened Polish documentaries abroad. Since 2019, Łukasz Kowalski has been running the production company 4.30 Studio.
