Vania Turner is an award-winning Greek-British documentary filmmaker, cinematographer, and editor. Her debut feature, Tack, explores Greece’s #MeToo movement through Olympic medalist Sofia Bekatorou and sailor Amalia Provelengiou. The film premiered at the 2024 Thessaloniki IDFF and continues its journey on the festival circuit, earning 13 film awards. Turner, a 2024 IDFA Academy Fellow, holds degrees in English Literature and Political Theory.
