Meeting: The Power of Taste, The Power of Women
after the screening of THE FIFTH SEASON, dir. Giuseppe Carrieri
“The Fifth Season” takes us on a journey through the kitchens of five Italian female chefs, where tradition meets new possibilities. In each of them, we discover different stories about flavour and different perspectives on memory, identity and creativity. For the protagonists, the true “fifth season” is a time to nurture their own history and chart new paths in the development of culinary tradition. After the screening, we will meet three Wrocław-based female chefs whose restaurants were recognised in the 2025 Michelin Guide. We will talk about their own “fifth seasons”, their passion for flavour, and the role of feminism in redefining cuisine and the position of women in the industry.
